In Solo Leveling, each Hunter has its own rank, there are six Hunter ranks, from S to E. Well, S-rank hunter are the strongest in Solo Leveling, while the weakest are in the E-rank. This rank cannot be changed, except when a Hunter experiences a Second Awakening.

10. Baek Yoon Ho
So, Baek Yoon Ho is the Guild Master of the White Tiger Guild. He is a fighter who likes to fight with his claws. Baek is famous for his skill in transformation magic. He can turn into a beast which makes his strength really increase!
In addition, Baek Yoon-Ho also has an ability called Eye of the Beast. So, he can see and judge the power of people, magic creatures, and even gates that appear. Cool, huh?
9. Choi Jong In
Choi Jong In, the head of the Hunters Guild in South Korea, many consider this guild to be the strongest in South Korea. This guild is known to be strong because it has two S-ranked Hunters.
Choi Jong-In himself is a mage who specializes in fire magic. His strength is comparable to Baek and he has a cool nickname, the ‘Ultimate Soldier’.
8. Lim Tae Gyu
Lim Tae Gyu is the Guild Master of the Fiend Guild. He is an expert Ranger who can use arrow magic very well. So crazy, he is recognized as the best Ranger in South Korea!
The funny thing is, he has a low confidence level as a Hunter. So, when he meets a Hunter from another country, he hopes they won’t get into a serious fight during the scrimmage.
But, if it’s necessary, Tae-Gyu will do a perfect job. Unfortunately, he and Ma Dong-Wook are the two S-Rank Hunter who get the least amount of attention.
7. Ma Dong-Wook
Ma Dong-Wook is an S-Rank Hunter from South Korea who is also the Guild Master of Fame Guild. He is a Tanker which means he has a very strong defense.
He is seen as a middle-aged man with a large build wearing a dobok, the standard uniform of judo athletes. But make no mistake, Dong-Wook has a friendly and sociable personality.
He is almost always seen smiling around others and he is also very affectionate as a Hunter. In addition to his judo skills and incredible physical strength, Dong-Wook also has a special ability that allows him to transform into a giant.
6. Min Byung Gyu
Min Byung Gyu is a retired S-ranked Hunter Healer. He is the best healer in South Korea. His ability as an S-Rank healer can heal people from even severe injuries.
Min Byung Gyu is still very young, but he decided to retire because he had a past trauma. He lost his best friend to a monster attack.
However, in the story, he returned to support the other S-Rank Hunter in the mission that became his last mission.
5. Eunseok
Well, so there is an S-Ranked Hunter whose name is Eunseok. He joined the Jeju Island Party Raid.
Although he had died in the third Jeju Island Raid, but judging from his status, Eunseok must have been greater than any other Hunter.
4. Cha Hae In
Cha Hae In is the best Hunter in South Korea who is also the Deputy Guild Master of the Hunters Guild. What makes him different from others is his super sharp senses.
With this ability, he can instantly differentiate people based on their Mana characteristics. But, that’s not all, he is also very good at martial arts, both using bare hands and weapons.
He can even hone his skills to the point where he can compete with one of Sung Jin-Woo’s Shadows generals, the main character in Solo Leveling. That’s why Hae-In is recognized by Jin-Woo as the strongest S-ranked Hunter after Go Gun-Hee and himself.
3. Sung Il Hwan
Sung Il Hwan is an S-rank Hunter in Solo Leveling, and he is also Sung Jin Woo’s father. He’s a super strong Ruler, arguably one of the most powerful Hunters in the world. To measure how strong he is, he can fight with the Frost Monarch, anyway.
2. Go Gun Hee
Go Gun Hee is the head of the South Korean Hunter Association. He’s one of the most powerful Hunters in the world, second only to Jin Woo. In the past, he was the strongest S-Rank Hunter in South Korea, no one could even beat him on that list. Even though he’s old now, he still looks really strong.
Because of that, he can intimidate those on this list. Hence, he became the mediator for all the Guilds in South Korea. Later in the story, he will show his true strength in his old age.
He is the vessel of the Fragment of Luminosity, which gives her the power of a Ruler – an entity that is said to be a God in the story. However, Gun Hee can’t use her powers to the fullest because of her age.
1. Sung Jin Woo
Finally, there’s the world’s strongest Hunter. Sung Jin Woo is none other than Sung Jin Woo. Initially, Jin Woo was the weakest Hunter until he was called the weakest weapon of mankind.
But, after he became a player of the System, Jin Woo continued to advance until he finally became the strongest Hunter in the world. He even became a Shadow Monarch.
