The Guinness World Record for the Honor of Kings tournament was set during the KPL 2025 grand final match between AG Global and Wolves Esports. Approximately 62,000 spectators filled the Beijing National Stadium to watch the match live.

This year, the total prize pool for the tournament reached approximately $982,000 USD, with the grand champion taking home around $280,000 USD. In addition, the player who became the FMVP also received an exclusive in-game skin item as a reward.

Interestingly, tickets for the championship final sold out in just 12 seconds after going on sale on October 30, 2025. Ticket prices were divided into several categories, ranging from $69 to $293, with three grandstand levels and several field area options. The extraordinary enthusiasm of Honor of Kings fans shows how popular this game is, especially in China.

For additional information, the Bird’s Nest stadium has a capacity of 80,000 seats. It previously hosted the 2017 LoL World Championship, which was attended by around 40,000 spectators. Now, Honor of Kings has surpassed that achievement by a significant margin, setting a new milestone for the global esports world.

In addition to the Honor of Kings World Championship, this weekend China is also hosting two other major events, namely the League of Legends Worlds 2025 Grand Finals and Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Chengdu. With three major tournaments taking place at the same time, this November is truly a peak moment for the global esports industry.
