Activision, Arcane Wonders, Genuine Entertainment, and Evolution announced a new board game called Call of Duty: The Board Game. Call of Duty: The Board Game is a strategy-themed board game.
This board game will be set in the Modern Warfare series. The game will feature famous maps and weapons from the title. According to designer Bryan Pope, the game is about strategically outmaneuvering your opponent to win in combat.

COD: The Board Game
In this game, players will take on the role of elite soldiers and compete against each other on iconic maps in the Call of Duty series. In addition to the maps, the game will also have paintings and components.
There will be several miniatures of familiar soldiers and their iconic weapons. There are also various scenarios and game modes that have been prepared in this board game.
It is still unclear how Call of Duty will play out as a board game. However, an interesting note is that the game will be funded through a Kickstarter campaign launching late 2023.
Regardless, Arcane itself is reportedly planning to turn the board game into something similar to a live service, like the video game Call of Duty. This will come with a lot of additional content. New operators (miniatures), weapons, maps, and modes (including Zombies and co-op) will reportedly be added in the title.
It will be interesting to see how Call of Duty will turn into a board game and the challenges the developers will face. But given Arcane’s experience in making board games it feels like a good fit. Currently, Activision’s Board Game is scheduled for a 2024 release.
