Amazon recently announced the air date of the live-action adaptation of Fallout which will be on April 12, 2024. They announced this information through their social media.
In its announcement, Prime Video shared an artwork featuring the vintage style of the Fallout franchise, which includes an iconic character called Vault Boy. Vault Boy is seen in a postcard from Los Angeles – “Where Dreams Come True”.
If the Fallout live action series follows the same pattern as the Fallout games in general. We can probably expect that the series will feature a Vault survivor searching for his loved ones, but there’s no way to be sure.
Fallout Live-Action Release Date
This announcement came with a teaser that used Pip-Boy graphics and various codes that seemed to contain easter eggs themselves. The teaser, unfortunately, does not contain any footage from the movie series.

In a press release, Amazon stated that the show will be an original story set in a post-apocalyptic future version of Los Angeles and will also be considered a canonical addition to the Fallout franchise.
Although the series will take the Fallout universe in a different direction, Amazon and Bethesda still seem to want to showcase many of the iconic locations that were once in the game.
Fallout itself is a post-apocalyptic action RPG game born from the cold hands of Bethesda.
