Frictional Games recently shared a 10-minute Gameplay Demo of Amnesia: The Bunker, which is 10 minutes of gripping content. The game is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on May 23, 2023.
After the previous series came with 18th century accents complete with castles and paintings of nobles. Now Frictional Games will take this horror game to the next level with Amnesia: The Bunker.
This game is set in World War I and brings new shooting and semi-open world elements to the series. It’s something new that has never been installed before. But Amnesia’s identity still remains strong in The Bunker.
Unlike previous Amnesia games, Amnesia: The Bunker will feature a new type of survival horror adventure that incorporates emergent gameplay and sandbox elements into the mix.

In the video the developer shared, it shows how players will navigate the new world by collecting items and investigating dark corridors a la the Amnesia franchise.
Player choices are emphasized by objects, threats, and resources that change in each game, alongside tool handling and various solutions to tricky puzzles.
Weapons and resources are also limited, but there are many environmental elements that players can interact with to collect items. Players also have the opportunity to see how players will navigate dark passages and creatures that aim to pose a threat to the player.
This new game will differ from previous titles in that it is set in a semi-open world. So players can choose their play style and also explore at will with several events that can be triggered during the journey.
In this game, players will assume the role of Henri Clement, a French soldier. Armed with a revolver and a noisy dynamo flashlight as he makes his way through the darkly lit World War I bunker, not only that Henri is also affected by Amnesia.
Players will explore a giant Bunker while restoring the memories of the main character and passing through and fighting the horrifying creatures around the Bunker.
