Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games have officially released a free demo of their horror adventure game, Little Nightmares III, exclusively for Steam. Keep in mind that this demo is standalone, which means that progress in the demo will not carry over to the full version of the game.

This demo will be a standalone experience. Therefore, any progress players make during the demo will not carry over to the full version of the game.

This gives players the opportunity to experience the dark and mysterious atmosphere that characterizes this series. Without any restrictions, get ready to dive into a world full of puzzles and suspense.

Introducing 2 Characters: Lone and Alone

This demo will introduce two characters, Lone and Alone. Lone will be armed with a bow, while Alone carries a wrench. The two must work together to navigate the uncertainties of their journey and face various obstacles.

Each character has unique skills. The arrows used by Lone are effective for hitting targets at height, such as ropes and flying enemies.

Meanwhile, Alone’s wrench can immobilize trapped enemies and destroy obstacles blocking his path.

When it is released, this game will feature cross-generation console co-op mode, complete with a Friends Pass feature that allows players to invite friends even if they don’t own the game.

Even without voice chat, there is a special button to call our friends, as well as other additions such as storage slots and the return of the “hand-holding” mechanic.

With a strong sense of horror adventure, this game not only offers a story that piques curiosity, but also introduces unique mechanics that will test players’ skills and endurance.

Little Nightmares III is scheduled to be released on October 10, 2025, for various platforms such as PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, and Xbox.
