In anticipation of its release, SEGA and developer Ryu ga Gotoku Studio released a Combat Demo for Like a Dragon: Ishin! In the Combat Demo, gamers can try out about 20 minutes of game portions that focus on showing the game’s combat system.
The demo presented is divided into two parts, one covering the battle at Kiyomizu temple and the other fighting against armored enemies.
Like a Dragon: Ishin “Combat Demo” has been officially released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and also PC via Steam and can be enjoyed for free for all gamers.
4 Fighting Styles
In this Combat Demo, players can experience 4 fighting styles aka “Killer Style”. First, you can kill enemies with deadly katanas using the Swordsman style. There is also a mode of shooting from a distance with a revolver using the Gunman style.
Furthermore, you can also use weapons and swords in the Wild Dancer style. If you’re interested, you can also take on enemies using the Jagoan style.
RGG Studio also includes the Heat Action (a type of finisher) that became so iconic in Yakuza games. For Ishin, we can summon a tiger to attack the enemy, force an orange into the enemy’s mouth, use a cannon to blow up the enemy, and so on.

For those of you who are uninformed, Like a Dragon: Ishin! is an action-adventure historical thriller game set in the unique 1860s Kyo, a fictionalized version of Kyoto.

Upon his return to Tosa, he saw that the caste system was still in place. After learning about the outside world in Edo, Ryoma ventured to stop the oppression that was being practiced by upper-caste family members on lower-caste people.
Like a Dragon: Ishin! is confirmed to release for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) on February 21, 2023.
