CD Projekt Red has announced a major update for Cyberpunk 2077, patch 2.2, which will bring a number of new features and exciting changes. Through update 2.2, CD Projekt Red has added 112 new customization options that players can apply to the main character.
This includes 32 choices of pupil appearance, various cyberware, makeup, tattoos on the body, and much more. There is also a Randomizer feature to make it easier for players to determine V’s appearance randomly.
Players now have the ability to change the color of the vehicle on the fly, even while driving. This feature can be useful, especially when players are being chased by authorities, as the color change can make the vehicle less recognizable.
Many Attractive Features
Last but not least, this patch also features a very fun little element. Johnny Silverhand, the iconic character played by Keanu Reeves, can now sporadically appear and interact with V while driving.
This certainly adds depth to the story and gameplay experience, providing a nostalgic feel for hardcore Cyberpunk fans. CD Projekt Red has confirmed that in this latest update, features that fans have come to expect such as support for PS5 Pro and New Game Plus (NG+) mode, will not be available.
Marcin Momot, CD Projekt Red’s Global Community Director, stated that although these two features will not be present. There are still “some cool things” in the pipeline that they will discuss further on the live stream.
Update 2.1, released earlier in December, brought a variety of features that players were looking forward to. These include a new metro system, portable radio player, repeatable car races, social interaction with NPCs, as well as more challenging boss battles.
