For the Seventh Time, Ubisoft Delays Skull and Bones Release

Ubisoft recently announced that the release of Skull and Bones has been delayed again to early 2024.

Ubisoft recently announced that the release of Skull and Bones has been delayed again to early 2024. Where previously in January they promised the game would be released around 2023.

With this new delay, Skull and Bones is expected to release between January 2024 and March 2024. If you’re wondering, this is almost the seventh time the Skull and Bones game has been delayed. It was supposed to launch in 2018, but has been delayed until now.

It’s unclear why Skull and Bones has been delayed again, but with three Creative Directors having given up on the project, many consider the game to be less than convincing. According to media such as IGN  who have tried it out, the current version of Skull and Bones  is good enough.

About Skull and Bones

Inspired by Assassins Creed IV Black Flag and the pirate era of the Indian Ocean, Skull and Bones is not only a sea exploration experience, but also the best pirate on the seas.

In the game, players will find many obstacles ranging from mythological creatures to threats from other players in Skull and Bones. To achieve this, players must build reputation and wealth through various activities.

There will be mission contracts, gathering resources, searching for treasure, and of course preying on other ships on the high seas. The goal is none other than to increase reputation and money to upgrade the player’s ship and crew.

The PC version of Skull and Bones will come with up to 4K resolution as well as HDR support to make images sharper, unlimited FPS, upscale for ray tracing, DLSS, or FSR, and of course, unlimited customization from input control to graphics.

Skull and Bones is a pretty heavy game. Ubisoft also provides some detailed specifications for players with high specs.
