HoYoverse has just announced Genshin Impact v4.5 titled “Brocade Weaver Sword Dance”, which will be released on March 13, 2024. This update will take Traveler back to Mondstadt to run the latest event. Even better, this update will see the arrival of a new 5-star character, Chiori.
After Liyue’s New Year celebration, players received an invitation to Mondstadt to assist Jean, Lisa, and the Knights of Favonius in managing the alchemy potion shop.
Several optimizations will also be available through this new version, including a new information center “Upgrade Guide”. This new system can provide various suggestions for developing Characters within the Traveler party.
New Characters Genshin Impact v4.5
Chiori, the genius Inazuma fashion designer and owner of Chioriya Boutique in Fontaine, will join as a Sword-using 5-Star Geo character.
In battle, Chiori can summon her automaton puppet and assistant designer, Tamoto, to inflict DMG based on her DEF and ATK.
Chiori and Arataki Itto will be present in the first half, followed by Neuvillette and Kaedehara Kazuha in the second half.
In addition, there is a new type of gacha banner, “Chronicled Wish”. This banner features Albedo, Eula, Mona, Klee, Diluc, and Jean. There are also more than 10 5-Star weapons, such as Wolf’s Gravestone and Hunter’s Path, in the same banner.
New System Optimization
In order to make the player’s experience in adventure and combat smoother, this latest version brings new system optimizations to help you.
In the Paimon Menu, the “Upgrade Guide” can provide recommendations and navigation for upgrading Characters in the player’s party based on their Level, Weapons, Artifacts, and Talents.
For example, if the player checks the Character Weapon recommendations. The Upgrade Guide will provide recommendations on how to evolve the weapon in use. There are also locations to collect their Ascension Materials, as well as a selection of Weapons that other players often use for that Character.
In addition, the Character Talent Level-Up Materials will now be displayed so that players can see what materials need to be collected quickly.
