Honor of Kings game developers, TiMi Studio Group and Level Infinite, have announced that the Philippines will be the location for the Honor of Kings Invitational S3 scheduled to take place in February 2025. This news comes just days after the announcement of the Honor of Kings esports schedule for next year.
In the upcoming Honor of Kings Invitational S3, the Philippines earned three spots, of which two slots are already clear and one additional slot due to them being the hosts. Meanwhile, Indonesia and Malaysia get two slots each.
In addition, there will be one team from a league in the Americas, Europe, Middle East or North Africa, as well as one team from Japan or South Korea. Finally, there will also be a team from the Wildcard tournament.
The 2025 Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3 tournament will be a historic moment for esports as it will for the first time implement a global Ban/Pick system outside of Honor of Kings in China.
The new rules will make pro matches more interesting as players cannot choose heroes from previous games. This increases competition by encouraging players to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each hero in depth.
Indonesian Team Participants at Honor of Kings Invitational S3
The local qualifiers for the upcoming Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3 will start in December with eight Invited Teams in between.

Meanwhile, the final two teams will be determined through the Open Qualifier, which still uses the standard draft and tire process. This open qualifier is for community teams in Indonesia to earn tickets to the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3 by taking on some of the previous Invited Teams.
Honor of Kings Invitational S3 Indonesia Qualification Schedule
HOK Invitational Qualifier Indonesia Season 3 will soon be held with a series of regional qualifiers in a number of countries, including Indonesia. For the Indonesian region, the qualifying tournament schedule will take place on December 4-8, 2024.
The two successful teams will get the chance to qualify for the main tournament which will be held in the third and fourth week of December 2024. They will represent Indonesia and compete against esports teams from other regions.
