In the Honor of Kings game, there are 10 types of spells to choose from, and all of them are very useful to improve the gameplay of the hero you are playing. Often, these abilities are the key factors that help your heroes master the match and help your team win.
Spells are extra abilities that you as a player can choose for your heroes before the match starts. These spells can be activated manually and will have a cooldown time after use.
Each hero in Honor of Kings has 10 spells, but not all spells are suitable for every hero because each hero has a different role and gameplay, such as absorbing damage, dealing damage, crowd control, and helping the team achieve important objectives such as Tyrant, Overlord, and Tempest Dragon.
Each hero in the game has three spells, of which the two mandatory spells are Recall to return to base and Recovery to regenerate HP. The other one can be chosen by the player to support the hero’s play.

Honor of Kings Spells Explanation
Here is a list of spells in the Honor of Kings game and their explanations.
1. Flash
The Flash Spell in Honor of Kings is one of the most chosen because of its versatility. This spell allows you to chase enemies or escape from difficult situations quickly.
When this spell is active, the hero using it will teleport, dash, or blink in the direction the player wants, with a certain maximum distance. This allows the hero to move far away from the location where he activated the flash.
2. Smite
The Smite Spell in Honor of Kings is very important for junglers. It deals 1500 true damage instantly to surrounding jungle monsters or minions, which is crucial in duels for Tyrant, Overlord, and Tempest Dragon.
In addition, you can use this Smite spell on one nearby enemy hero to deal damage and produce a stun effect for 1 second. You can also upgrade this spell by purchasing Hunting Knife, which will turn it into Smite Aura.
3. Execute
Smite deals instant true damage to jungle monsters, while the Execute Honor of Kings spell deals true damage to opposing heroes, equivalent to 16% of the HP lost when you activate it.
If you successfully defeat your opponent’s hero by using this Execute HOK spell, the cooldown will be reduced by 90% from 60 seconds, to only 6 seconds.
4. Purify
By activating the Purify Honor of Kings spell, the hero using it will remove all annoying debuffs or crowd control effects, except suppression effects.
In addition, the hero will also remain immune to additional crowd control effects from enemies for 1.5 seconds afterward.
5. Heal
Despite already having the Recovery ability, there are often still many heroes who require the addition of the Honor of Kings Heal spell. This is because this spell can not only restore 15% of the user’s health, but it can also heal nearby teammates’ heroes when active.
Spell Heal not only restores health, but also increases the movement speed of teammates by 15% for 2 seconds. Thus, this spell becomes a very useful support tool for tankers in helping the team and surviving.
6. Intimidate
While the Intimidate spell in Honor of Kings is active, the hero using it can reduce damage from surrounding enemies by 25% and also increase his own damage reduction by 20% for 4 seconds.
If a teammate casts an Intimidate spell on the same hero within the previous or following 5 seconds, the resulting damage reduction debuff is halved.
7. Frenzy
When you activate the Frenzy Honor of Kings spell, for the next 7 seconds, the hero you are using will get a 10% increase in damage, a 15% reduction in damage from opposing heroes (Resistance), as well as 20% physical lifesteal and 30% magical lifesteal.
Spell Frenzy is especially useful for Clash Lane heroes that focus on damage. With this ability, they can act as frontliners who are able to deal damage while lasting longer in battle.
8. Stun
As the name suggests, this Honor of Kingsd stun spell will make enemy heroes around it silent for 0.75 seconds. In addition, there is also an additional effect in the form of a slow that lasts for 1 second.
Interestingly, this effect does not only hit one target, but will affect all enemy heroes nearby.
9. Sprint
Spell Sprint in Honor of Kings grants an additional 30% movement speed to heroes for 10 seconds after activation. If used outside of teamfights, the movement speed increases to 20%. This is very useful for chasing enemies or escaping from difficult situations.
When you activate the Sprint spell, your chosen hero can remove all slow effects given by your opponent. While this spell is active, the hero can not only sprint faster, but can also reduce 50% of the slow effect that the enemy keeps giving.
10. Disrupt
Honor of Kings’ Disrupt Spell is unique in that it can be used on towers, both your own and enemy. When activated in the enemy tower’s coverage area, this spell will silence the building for 2 to 5 seconds, with a duration of 1.5 seconds after the 4th minute and increasing every 5 minutes.
If you use the Disrupt spell in your own team’s tower coverage area, the tower will be immune to enemy damage and gain double the attack speed for 4 seconds.
That’s the explanation of the spells in the Honor of Kings game. You can adjust this spell selection according to the hero you will use in the match. Hope this helps!
