Bandai Namco along with Byking have announced the release date of Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash which will be February 2, 2024. Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash is a 3D two-on-two action brawler game that will feature various iconic characters from the series
JJK: Cursed Clash is a game inspired by the popular manga and anime series, Jujutsu Kaisen. Jujutsu Kaisen itself is a work by Gege Akutami that was first published in 2018 and has since become one of the most anticipated manga series.
This game will feature a story mode based on the manga/anime series. The main character, Yuji Itadori, and his friends must protect humanity from the threat of a curse creature that lives in modern Japan.
Character Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash
JJK: Cursed Clash will feature 15 iconic characters from the anime series “Jujutsu Kaisen” including Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo, and others.
Yuji Itadori
The voice of Yuji Itadori is Junya Enoki. Itadori has a curse technique called Divergent Fist. Every time Yuji lands a punch on a target, his cursed energy amplifies the impact and creates a second, more powerful punch.
Megumi Fushiguro
The voice of Megumi Fushiguro is Yuuma Uchida. Megumi has a curse technique called Ten Shadows. She can summon up to ten shikigami using her shadows. This ability also gives her control over the shadows, allowing her to hide in them and keep objects in her shadow.
Nobara Kugisaki
The voice of Nobara Kugisaki is Asami Seto. Nobara’s curse technique involves using jujutsu through certain tools such as hammers, nails, and straw dolls. By channeling cursed energy through these tools, he can perform various techniques, including sharing the damage between the straw doll and its target.
Satoru Gojo
The voice of Satoru Gojo is Yuuichi Nakamura. Gojo possesses the Limitless Technique allowing control over space using cursed energy at the atomic level, which results in various abilities.
Infinity, a variation of Limitless, is often misinterpreted as simply stopping something, but its real power lies in slowing it down. When an attack is aimed at Satoru, it actually hits the space around him, not him directly.
Ryomen Sukuna
The voice of Ryomen Sukuna is Junichi Suwabe. Sukuna, known as the King of Curses, possesses immense cursed energy, but his specific cursing technique is still unknown. He once demonstrated the ability to unleash an invisible slash using his cursed energy.
Maki Zenin
The voice of Maki Zenin is Mikako Komatsu. Maki possesses a curse technique called Heavenly Restriction. Despite not possessing cursed energy, Maki has extraordinary physical abilities comparable to trained witches who amplify their powers with cursed energy. Although not superhuman like Yuji, she shows phenomenal abilities as a human.
Toge Inumaki
The voice of Toge Inumaki is Koki Uchiyama. Toge has a curse technique called Curse Speech. Toge has the ‘Snake & Fang’ seal on his tongue and mouth, an ability of the Inumaki clan. He can amplify his words with cursed energy to increase the persuasive power of his commands, forcing anyone who hears them to obey.
Panda
The voice of Panda is Tomokazu Seki. Panda has a curse technique called Cursed Corpse Cores. There are three cores inside the Panda’s body. The balanced-type Panda, the strength-type Gorilla, and the third core, the Triceratops. If one of these cores is damaged, the Panda cannot change shape until it recovers.
Release Date of Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash
Players will be able to select characters from the series and participate in thrilling battles using the magic and jujutsu abilities that each character possesses.
All characters will also experience a progressive increase in power level during battle, allowing them to launch more powerful attacks as time goes on.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash will release for the PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) platforms on February 2, 2024.
