Krafton as the developer of the PUBG Mobile game has just announced a collaboration between PUBG Mobile and the Spy x Family anime. For now, there is no detailed information about the new collaboration, including the schedule for the start of the event.
PUBG Mobile is well-known as one of the games that diligently collaborates with various anime franchises.
Previously PUBG Mobile had done the same thing with Jujutsu Kaisen, Dragon Ball Super, Neon Genesis Evangelion. In fact, it has collaborated with other games such as League of Legends.
Mutually Beneficial Collaboration
For those of you who are uninformed, Spy x Family is an anime that focuses on a strange family in a war-torn world. Twilight the father is a spy, with Yor being a mother, and Anya who is a child with a special ability to read minds.
Tatsuya Endo’s work has been serialized on “Shonen Jump+” since March 2019. The anime has won various Japanese comic or manga awards. As of March 2024, it has surpassed a total of 35 million copies in circulation across 13 volumes.
The collaboration with PUBG Mobile Spy x Family can be said to be mutually beneficial, because this anime is doing an interesting movie promotion.
By collaborating with other media, it can certainly increase the interest of the audience to watch the movie. Spy x Family Code: White has started airing in Indonesia since February.
Although not as well known as Fortnite, PUBG Mobile manages to bring a variety of interesting collaborations that are no less exciting than its predecessor.
With this partnership with “SPY×FAMILY”, PUBG Mobile is preparing to bring some new content from the anime series to the battlefield in the near future.
