The M4 World Championship will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia on January 1-15, 2023. Indonesia itself will be represented by two MPL ID S10 finalists, namely RRQ Hoshi and also ONIC Esports.

M4 World Championship Schedule
M4 World Championship akan terbagi dalam 3 fase yang dimulai dari Group Stage, Knockout Stage (Playoff), dan juga Grand Final. Semua tim akan bertanding demi memperebutkan gelar juara M-series edisi keempat.
GROUP STAGE: 1-4 JANUARI 2023
- A total of 16 teams divided into 4 groups of 4 teams each.
- The format used is single round robin, meaning all matches are played in BO1.
- The 1-2 place teams in each group advance to the Upper Bracket Knockout Stage (Playoffs).
- The 3-4th-placed teams in each group advance to the Lower Bracket Knockout Stage (Playoffs).
KNOCKOUT STAGE (Playoff): 7-14 JANUARI 2023
- A total of 16 teams are divided into 2 brackets consisting of Upper and Lower Bracket.
- 8 teams start in the Upper Bracket and 8 in the Lower Bracket.
- All matches in the Upper Bracket use the BO5 format.
- The Lower Bracket matches use the BO3 format, but the Lower Bracket Semi Finals and Finals use the BO5 format.
GRAND FINALS: 15 JANUARI 2023
- The 2 teams that won the Upper Bracket Final and Lower Bracket Final will compete.
- The format used is BO7.
