Every year Milestone releases a new edition of the official MotoGP game. Usually the latest edition comes at the beginning of the year. Starting May 2, MotoGP 24, will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
They announced this through an official trailer shared by Milestone. All the official riders, teams and circuits from MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 as well as the electric MotoE will be available in this edition.
MotoGP 24 comes with some very interesting new features. One of the most noticeable additions is the RidersMarket. This feature allows not only human players, but also computer riders to change teams during and after the season.
Bring Some New Features
In the MotoGP 24 game, there are several new features that enhance the gaming experience and make it more like the real thing. One of these is the Riders Market, which allows players to transfer riders to other teams when playing in the game’s Career mode.
Another feature in MotoGP 24 is the Stewards, who give warnings or penalties to riders who commit offenses during the race.
There are different types of penalties that players can receive, such as Long Lap Penalty, Time Penalty, and also Let’s Pass which resembles a real racing situation. One of the new features that has been introduced is Adaptive Difficulty. This feature allows the AI system in this game to be adjusted automatically.
In other words, the difficulty level, the course of the race, and various strategies can be set automatically, even to the point of approximating the actual racing experience.
Some features that were already present in previous editions are back in MotoGP 24. Starting from Dynamic Weather where when you race, the weather can change at any time. Then the Flag-to-Flag feature which allows changing bikes when weather conditions change is still present in this edition.
Cross-play will also allow fans to jump right in and compete regardless of platform and console generation. Additionally, two-player local split-screen has been confirmed for the PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam versions.
MotoGP 24 will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and also PC (Steam) on May 2, 2024.
