Bungie and NetEase Games finally announced the exact release date for the game that will take the title Destiny: Rising Mobile version. The mobile game, which is also a spin-off of Destiny, will now launch on August 28, 2025 on iOS and Android.
This RPG shooter game will carry the two hallmarks of Destiny games, namely thrilling sci-fi action cinematic gameplay and storytelling. Unlike the two mainline entries, this game takes place in an alternate timeline. As such, it will make it easier for novice players to understand the story.
In this game, players will take on the role of one of the unique characters who aim to protect the futuristic Earth. Many of these are already familiar to loyal fans.
There are also several new characters. Each of these characters has a unique backstory, characterization, and skills. Players can also choose from an array of weapons and traits to experiment with their playstyle.

Players will play in a different first-person or third-person perspective from Destiny 2. There are also options to play using a touchscreen or controller.
For game modes, there is a story-focused PvE Campaign. There are also diverse PvP and PvE modes with high replayability. To make gameplay even more fun with friends, there are clan and shared world features.
Along with the release of the latest trailer, NetEase Games has opened pre-registration on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. So far, the number of pre-registrations has reached 5 million, which indicates that each player will get 10 free draws.
If the pre-registration number reaches 10 million, players can get 1 Exotic Ornament. The item can be used for new weapons. Each of these rewards will be available after players unlock Chapter 1-1 in their Story.
