Netmarble made another splash at Anime Expo 2025 by announcing their new game called Solo Leveling: KARMA. The game will be available for PC, iOS, as well as Android platforms.
Solo Leveling: KARMA will promise a roguelite action RPG experience that is different from previous Solo Leveling games. The main attraction of this game is the original story that has never been revealed in the webtoon or novel.
Players will dive into a hidden story that has never been told before, with the tagline “You are invited to uncover the hidden story behind the 27-year gap.”
About Solo Leveling: KARMA
The main protagonist, Sung Jinwoo is back at the center of the story. This time he faces a new war against the Monarchs.
Unlike Solo Leveling: Arise which focuses on action RPGs and gacha systems, the KARMA version will carry the roguelite action RPG genre.
This version will bring a dungeon-crawling action game experience with a high-speed isometric combat system. This game may remind us a bit of Hades. As such, the gameplay of this series will emphasize fast-paced action with a high element of replayability.
The series will utilize a top-down perspective. The visual style retains the signature Solo Leveling: Arise with the same 3D graphics, but with a different camera angle.
This game is the third title in Netmarble’s Solo Leveling game franchise. Previously, they had released Solo Leveling: Arise in May 2024 for mobile and PC, and is also preparing Arise Overdrive for Xbox and PC.
