Little Nightmares III game officially released on October 10, 2025, marking the return of one of the most popular horror-adventure series. Developed by Supermassive Games and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, the game is available on various platforms, including PC and consoles.
Bandai Namco also launched a Deluxe Edition that includes an Expansion Pass titled The Secrets of The Spiral, offering two new chapters to deepen the mythology of Little Nightmares.
In addition, exclusive costume packs referencing characters from previous series are available, as part of the publisher’s efforts to maintain player interest after the initial release.
Little Nightmares III Gameplay

Unlike the previous two series, Little Nightmares III introduces two new characters, Low and Alone. Low is a boy wearing a crow mask and carrying a bow and arrows, while Alone is a girl wearing a green jumper and carrying a large wrench. The two must work together to survive in a dark world called The Nowhere, a place full of monsters and dark secrets.
The story takes players on a journey through various thrilling locations such as Necropolis, Carnevale, and The Institute, while delving into the traumatic and fearful pasts of the two protagonists. This game not only features the tension typical of the series, but also presents an emotional side through the relationship between the two main characters.
Little Nightmares III is the first game in the series to feature an online co-op mode, allowing two players to work together to solve puzzles and face threats.
Each character has unique abilities. Low can reach distant areas with arrows, while Alone uses a wrench to destroy obstacles or incapacitate enemies.
Little Nightmares III has also been praised for its visuals and tense atmosphere, as well as the emotional connections between characters. However, some critics feel that the game’s pacing is inconsistent, and that the co-op elements sometimes detract from the intensity of the tension.
Even so, Little Nightmares III remains a step forward in the evolution of the series, combining elements of psychological horror, teamwork, and captivating world design to create an unforgettable nightmare experience.
