Some time ago NEOWIZ and Round8 Studio announced that their latest flagship game Lies of P is ready for release in August 2023. This game by indie developer NEOWIZ has managed to attract the attention of gamers since it was first announced because of its unique formula.
In addition, this game also reminds gamers of Bloodborne, which until now has not received its latest series. This can certainly be a thirst quencher for fans waiting for the continuation of Bloodborne.
Comes with a Unique Story Formula
This game tells the adventures of Pinocchio, a puppet who lives on a mission to find his creator, Mr. Geppetto. The background theme presented is also quite unique where the game adapts the Steampunk genre in a city called Krat.
The mood theme of the game has a number of enemy types that will confront the player. In addition, the trailer also features one of the unique gameplay mechanics, which is Pinocchio’s hand that can be modified into a tool or weapon such as a ranged weapon, grappling hook and so on.
The city of Krat itself is inspired by the Belle poque Era in Europe (late 19th to early 20th century) and is also the epitome of a crumbling city that has lost its prosperity. As part of Pinocchio’s story, there will be “fake” quests that will affect the in-game story. In addition, Pinocchio’s body parts can also be replaced to gain new skills.
Ready for Release in August 2023
Pinocchio in this game is a mechanoid doll that can change its body parts to get stronger fighting skills. Players will later move Pinocchio as the main character in this game.
Players are required to complete the dark obstacles that exist with makeshift weapons. In addition, players will also be given the freedom to combine various components on weapons to produce more powerful weapons.
Lies of P will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and also PC via Steam in August 2023, but does not have an exact date yet.
