Coming with Snowdrop Engine
According from Insider Gaming, Ubisoft is now developing two Far Cry series, the first is lined up as Far Cry 7, while the second series is its multiplayer only game. It is not yet clear what the details of the two games are.
For multiplayer games, Ubisoft will reportedly offer a thicker survival concept with permadeath effects in it. The setting itself will reportedly take place in Alaska. There is no information yet whether it will be related to Far Cry 7 or not.
As for Far Cry 7, Kotaku said that it will no longer use the World Engine as a base like the previous series. Far Cry 7 will be built using Ubisoft Massive’s engine – Snowdrop Engine.
Possible Release 2025
