Bandai Namco Release Tekken 8’s Lars Alexandersson Gameplay Trailer

Through its new trailer, Bandai Namco this time shows the action of Lars Alexandersson in Tekken 8 who is the half-brother of Kazuya Mishima. This character first appeared in Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion.

Lars Alexandersson, who had stopped by in Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, will be back in the eighth series with more power. In Tekken 8, he has a quite complicated background story.

The new trailer gives players a first look at the deadly character’s fighting style and great-looking new costume.

Lars made his first appearance in “Tekken 6”. Since then, he has continued to be present in the subsequent “Tekken” game series. He is also one of the illegitimate children of Heihachi Mishima which makes him still related to the antagonist and protagonist of Tekken, namely Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama.

TEKKEN 8 – Lars Alexandersson Gameplay Trailer

So far, he has been cast as a supporting character to “Tekken” protagonist Jin Kazama, if you look at the game’s story. In the short 2-minute trailer, Lars is shown with various new movesets that look agile & powerful.

The animation of each of Lars’ combo moves looks very smooth, eye-pleasing and cool. Still relying on his powerful electric punch and kick attacks, his ultimate move this time also reminds us of Kakashi’s Raikiri attack in Naruto.

This is possible because of the use of Unreal Engine which makes the graphical appearance of “Tekken 8” very beautiful and realistic. Since the release of the first proper gameplay trailer during The Game Awards 2022, Bandai Namco has shown more of Tekken 8 with many character-focused trailers.
