Ubisoft Announced XDefiant Closed Beta Schedule

Officially, Ubisoft announced that it will hold a closed beta of XDefiant, their brand-new FPS game.

Officially, Ubisoft announced that it will hold a closed beta of XDefiant which is their brand new FPS game. XDefiant will be a 6vs6  first person shooter  (FPS) game that uses characters from the Tom Clancy universe with each of their uniqueness.

Each class will have different weaponry and abilities. There are four factions that will enter this game namely Cleaners (Assault), Wolves (Tank), Echelon (Support), and also Outcasts (Healer).

Just like in Overwatch, each character will have their own abilities and extras.

Closed Beta XDefiant

The closed beta of the game will take place on April 23, 2023, and what makes this program special is that it allows players to crossplay. So, players playing on the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms can play together.

 During XDefiant’s closed beta, players will have the opportunity to try out some of the features that will be present in the final release. Here are the features that players were able to try out:

  • 22 different weapons
  • 5 explosive device
  • 44 Attachment
  • 14 different maps
  • 4 Ubisoftfranchise-inspired factions

Ubisoft Franchise Inspired Factions

Ubisoft Franchise-inspired factions are the players themselves will have the opportunity to play one of 4 ubisoft games. For example, such as The Cleaners (The Division), Libertad (Far Cry 6), Echelon (Splinter Cell), and Phantoms (Ghost Recon Phantoms). 

Of each character in the four games, only 1 will be unlocked and can be played, and for other characters it can be unlocked after running several missions. 

Closed beta is intended to invite players to try their latest game, and also all feedback will be accepted by Ubisoft in order to create a game that survives and continues.

Players can apply for Closed Beta access from now on via the official website. If you qualify, you can play the game first with access to the above content until April 23, 2023.
