Ubisoft and Ubisoft San Francisco have announced the release schedule of XDefiant which will fall on May 21, 2024. This Call of Duty competitor game will be available for multiple platforms, including PC, PS5, and also Xbox Series X|S.
XDefiant will be a 6vs6 first person shooter (FPS) game that uses characters from the Tom Clancy universe with their own unique traits. Each class will have different weaponry and abilities.
There are four factions that will enter this game, namely Cleaners(Assault), Wolves (Tank), Echelon(Support) and also Outcasts (Healer). Just like in Overwatch, each character will have their own abilities and ultra.
XDefiant is described as a “fast-paced shooter meets punk-rock mosh pit” which is quite strange considering Tom Clancy’s shooter games are usually serious in theme. XDefiant will take players to the front lines of the Tom Clancy universe in iconic locations in colorful chaos.
