Before it hits theaters, Thai comedy horror film 404 Run Run has received a positive response at the Jogja-NETPAC Asia Film Festival (JAFF) 2024. The synopsis of 404 Run Run tells the story of a real estate scammer who wants to sell an abandoned hotel, but the hotel turns out to be haunted.
The movie features Ter Chantavit as Nakrob, an ambitious and greedy young real estate agent. Besides Ter, Thanaerng Kanyawee Songmuang, Daou Pittaya Saechua, Arethai Supathat Opas, and famous comedian Nui Chernyim are also cast.
Interestingly, Indonesian artists such as Abidzar Al Ghifari and Adzana Ashel also appear in this movie as cameos, adding to the uniqueness of the storyline. So what is the full synopsis of the movie 404 Run Run? Check it out below.
1. 404 Run Run Synopsis
404 Run Run tells the story of Nakrob, a young real estate agent known for his cheating habits. One day, he stumbles upon a neglected building for sale at a low price, the former Sukhee Nirun hotel.
Even though the hotel had a creepy reputation and was often associated with horror stories, Nakrob still chose to buy the property in hopes of turning it into a profitable business.
After buying the hotel, Nakrob soon realized that his plans were doomed. He discovers that the hotel is inhabited by the ghost of a woman named Lalita, who was the original owner of the hotel and refuses to leave the premises.
Lalita is fiercely protective of her hotel and doesn’t hesitate to resort to creepy ways to keep the place in her possession.
The conflict between Nakrob and Lalita is the main focus of the story. Nakrob, whose only concern is material gain, has to deal with a curious spirit that refuses to leave. In his attempts to exorcise the ghosts, Nakrob tries to work with various shamans of different faiths, but his efforts often lead to ridiculous and chaotic situations.
On the other hand, Lalita, with all the mystical powers at her disposal, fought hard to keep the hotel her home.

With an interesting theme and synopsis, 404 Run Run presents a suspenseful yet entertaining story. The combination of suspenseful horror elements and comedic moments makes for a very unique viewing experience.
