The 2024 BAFTA Nominations announcement shows the dominance of Oppenheimer and Poor Things.
One movie that dominated was Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. The movie made it into 13 categories, with a biopic story adapted from the American book Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer.

1. Held on February 18, 2024

BAFTA will hold their annual awards ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall, London on February 18, 2024. This year, actor David Tennant will host the event.
As the special event approaches, BAFTA has announced 25 nominees who will compete for the awards. This is the 77th year for BAFTA.

3. Oppenheimer and Poor Things Dominate the 2024 BAFTA Nominations

Interestingly, out of the 25 nomination lists, Oppenheimer managed to dominate by being included in 13 nomination categories.
The categories include Best Picture, Best Director, Best Lead Actor, Supporting Actress, Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score, Best Cinematography, Best Costume Design, Best Editing, Best Production Design, Best Makeup and Hair, and Best Sound.
The movie Poor Things featuring Emma Stone also won the runner-up position with a difference of only two points. The movie made it into 11 categories.
