Lionsgate has finally released the first trailer for Ballerina. After the end of John Wick’ s story in the fourth sequel, the story of the dark world of assassins continues through the spin-off The Continental. The latest is Ballerina, which will hit theaters in 2025.
1. First Trailer From The World of John Wick Ballerina
Entitled From The World of John Wick Ballerina, the trailer features Winston’s recruitment of the character Eve (Ana de Armas). The younger version of the character then undergoes training at the Ruska Roma assassin academy, where she is trained by a character played by Sharon Duncan-Brewster.
The trailer begins with a scene where Winston, meets a young Eve. He then takes her to a location to practice “dancing.”
However, the place Winston is referring to is actually Ruska Roma, which is a training ground for the greatest assassins, including John Wick. In the trailer, we also get to see how Eve trains to become an assassin.
Next, the plot shifts focus to Eve seeking revenge against those she holds responsible for the death of her father and family. At the end of the Ballerina trailer, we witness the meeting between Eve and John Wick.
Eve expressed her desire to be like John Wick, and the character played by Keanu Reeves replied that Eve had started the process.
2. Has the John Wick : Chapter 3 Time Setting
From The World of John Wick Ballerina is at the same time as the movie John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum which was released in 2019. In this movie, we will see how Eve started her journey of becoming a terrifying killer. In addition, the reason behind her actions will also be revealed, which is revenge for her father’s death.
Ballerina was originally scheduled to premiere on June 7, 2024, but Lionsgate then decided to postpone the release of the film to June 6, 2025.
