Bangkok Blossom is Engfa Waraha’s drama comeback after Show Me Love. Engfa Waraha plays Kulap, a beautiful and talented sex worker. Kulap has a bold character and unimaginable dreams.
Next is Goy Arachapon who starred in the Thai version of the drama Start-Up. In Bangkok Blossom he plays Baton, Kulap’s friend at Blossom Hall. She wants to be free from the brothel to live a normal life and build a family with the man she loves.
The drama also features Charlette Wasita who became the youngest actress to star in the drama Bangkok Blossom. This is her first drama where she plays the lead.
In the drama, she plays a character named Thianyot, who dreams of being an ordinary girl who can get a higher education. Thianyot entered Blossom Hall because she was sold.
Bangkok Blossom is about three women who live in a brothel called Blossom Hall. In 1892, the prostitution business was thriving and popular in Thailand, so the three women were forced to work as commercial sex workers. They were Kulap (Engfa Waraha), Botan (Goy Arachapon), and Thianyot (Charlette Wasita).
Kulap, Botan, and Thianyot do not want to live in Blossom Hall. They aspire to be free and realize their dreams. The three strive to earn enough money to free themselves and leave Blossom Hall.
They want to stop working as prostitutes and regain their honor and dignity as human beings.
