Barry Keoghan will officially play the Joker in The Batman 2?
At the end of The Batman, Barry Keoghan appears as the Joker. In the scene, it is revealed that the Joker is a prisoner in Arkham and is having a conversation with The Riddler (Paul Dano).
Although his name is not explicitly stated, his voice alone is enough to conclude that it is the Joker. After that, rumors surfaced that the Joker would have a more significant role in the sequel, The Batman 2.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Barry Keoghan did not dismiss the possibility of his appearance in Matt Reeves’ The Batman 2.
Initially, Keoghan gave a response to his possible role as the Joker in The Batman 2, but when asked about the possibility of returning in the Batman sequel, Barry then stated, “I can’t really say anything about that. That would be very exciting, wouldn’t it? Seeing the Joker alive again. My smile says it all, you know what I mean?”
Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, and Colin Farrell will also reportedly return for the sequel. Dick Grayson as Robin, may join the cast this time around, but the news is still not fully confirmed.
The 2022 release of The Batman movie received praise after the masked hero returned to action. The Batman is almost three hours long and managed to earn a total revenue of $770.9 million. The movie also received positive reviews from critics.
