Sony Pictures has officially released a behind the scene teaser for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Instead of showing scenes from the movie itself, the video shows a series of activities carried out by the cast and crew on the first day of filming.
The film Spider-Man: Brand New Day takes place after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Everyone, including Peter’s close friend Ned (Jacob Batalon) and his ex-girlfriend MJ (Zendaya), has forgotten Peter Parker’s secret identity.
This story will feature the return of Michael Mando as Mac Gargan, aka Scorpion, a character who first appeared in the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: Homecoming. In this story, Scorpion will be the main villain threatening Peter’s safety.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day Behind The Scene
In a teaser segment, Tom Holland shared a brief comment about his return to the iconic role. He said, “When I put on this costume… it feels very different from before. I’m just trying to give it my best. Hopefully everything goes smoothly. There’s no pressure at all.” This statement was recorded directly on the filming location and became one of the main highlights in the video.
In the video, Tom Holland can be seen wearing his Spider-Man costume, taking photos with children on set, and chatting with director Destin Daniel Cretton.
The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 31, 2026, and is a collaboration between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, with Destin Daniel Cretton as the director.
The launch of this teaser is part of the initial promotional campaign, which aims to provide an overview of the production process to build anticipation before the official trailer is released.
The arrival of Punisher and Hulk

This film will mark Jon Bernthal’s official debut as the Punisher on the big screen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Punisher is known for his extremely deadly fighting style, which is vastly different from Spider-Man’s approach. Additionally, Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as the Hulk, who will be involved in the storyline and add depth to the conflicts in New York City.
There is also the presence of actress Sadie Sink, known for her role in the series Stranger Things, as a new supporting cast member. Information about the role Sadie Sink will play has not been disclosed, so the identity of her character is still being kept secret by the production team.
