1. Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths
Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths is a multi-part DC animated film series. The story is similar to the comic version, where heroes from DC will meet in an inter-universe battle that could threaten the multiverse.
The plan is for the first part or “part one” to be released live in digital form in January 2024.
2. Batman Azteca: Choque de Imperios
Imagine, if Batman didn’t appear in Gotham in the present day, but in the Aztec times of the past? The story is about a young Aztec named Yohualli Coatl who becomes a hero called “Batman” in this era.
Although the exact date has yet to be announced, the animation is scheduled to air on HBO Max in 2024.
3. Joker: Folie à Deux
The movie Joker: Folie à Deux is the only live action movie from DC that will be released in 2024, at least that’s what we know now.
This time DC presents a follow-up film to Joker that brings back Joaquin Phoenix as Joker, and also involves Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn with a combination of musical and crime drama genres.
The movie is scheduled to air in October 2024.
4. Watchmen
DC has announced that there will be an animated film Watchmen that they will release in 2024. Although there is no definite information regarding the release date.
As in the comics and movie, this animation will tell the story of a group of superheroes who retired in 1985 and found a new threat.
5. Creature Commandos
Creature Commandos is the only animated series announced in James Gunn’s initial DCU project.
The series will tell the story of a group consisting of unusual members such as Rick Flagg Sr. who will also appear in the live action version, Nina Mazursky, Doctor Phosphorus, Eric Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, G.I. Robot, and Weasel.
