The stars of Deadpool & Wolverine give their thoughts on the possibility of appearing in Avengers 5 which will be released in 2026. Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, two new stars in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), will be making their debut in the near future through the movie Deadpool & Wolverine.
These two actors became the new stars of the MCU after Disney acquired Fox. For this reason, fans can’t wait to see another exciting mutant movie project.
Chances of Deadpool and Wolverine in Avengers 5
Deadpool 3 or Deadpool & Wolverine will be the first project about mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and will be released on July 24, 2024. Many fans are curious if these two characters will appear in the upcoming Avengers movie.
In a recent interview with Variety, the two leads from the Deadpool & Wolverine movies gave their take on the possibility of both characters appearing in Avengers 5.
In that situation, neither of them actually gave a firm answer about it. Instead, they both tried to avoid the question.
However, Ryan Reynolds himself responded by saying, “I don’t know. Yeah, we’ll see.”
Meanwhile, Hugh Jackman admitted that he didn’t know what to make of the question. While neither of them gave a definitive answer, it does make sense for both of them to appear in Avengers 5.
Very Clear Instructions
The main clue that emerged was how the movie trailer featured the Secret Wars comics and how the two characters entered into a portal. Although it is not yet known where the portal leads to, it is likely that they will go to another universe that is the same as the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Also, with the immense popularity of these two characters, it would be a shame if they didn’t appear in this movie.
Another indication is Marvel’s statement that they will introduce more than 60 characters in the Avengers movie. With such a large number of characters, it is not surprising that these two characters will appear in Avengers 5.
Marvel has even appointed director Shawn Levy to direct this movie. So, let’s wait for more news about this project!
