Thai horror film Death Whisperer 2 caught the eye when it premiered in Thailand on October 10, 2024 and is now available on streaming platform Netflix. The sequel to Death Whisperer (2023) is directed by Taweewat Wanta and features returning actors from the previous film.
Death Whisperer tells the story of a farming family in Kanchanaburi in 1972, consisting of six children: Yak, Yos, Yod, Yad, Yam, and Yee. Their lives seem normal until Yak, who works in the military, returns to the village. One day, Yad, Yam and Yee came home from school late and saw a creepy figure in a big tree near the house.
The movie features a number of disturbing and disgusting scenes. With an intense musical score and detailed cinematography, the audience feels the tension, and the disturbing scenes look natural.
Death Whisperer 2 Synopsis
It has been three years since Yam died. Although the family tried hard to convince Yak to stop seeking revenge against the ghost in the black dress, he remained steadfast in his intention to hunt her down.
He was worried that the ghost would return to take revenge on the surviving family members. Eventually, Yak found clues to the background of the ghost, who turned out to have been brought to life by a shaman with great power.
Meanwhile, Yad was planning to get married, hoping that Yak would attend the event with the rest of his family. Unbeknownst to him, the black-clad ghost would return, leaving his family in terror once again.
