Josh Grode, CEO of Legendary Pictures, stated in a CNBC interview on Monday that they would support the production process of a Dune 3 movie if Denis Villeneuve and his team wanted to bring the story to life.
“I think everyone is very happy and enjoying the moment and if Denis Villeneuve is able to deliver a good script and he feels that he is able to deliver the same experience as what is happening nowthen I don’t see any reason not to do it (Dune 3).”
The Director Wants to Make Dune 3
Earlier, the director also expressed his opinion on the strong desire and eagerness of people to see the continuation of the movie.
According to Denis, it seems to have become a problem for the Hollywood movie industry. Because they only focus on fulfilling the wishes of fans without paying attention to the quality of the movie.
That led Denis to state that he would make a Dune 3 or Dune: Messiah. However, the film will only be realized if there is a good and substantial story script. Denis also admitted that there is a big challenge in adapting this third story to film.
Denis has the intention to give fans a good experience, so he will not rush to release the third movie if there is no interesting story. This is why Denis cannot predict when Dune 3 or Dune: Messiah will be released.
The Movie Dune: Part Two was a huge success
After the huge success of the movie Dune: Part Two, the movie studio fully supported the production of Dune 3. After the release of the first movie last year, Dune has officially released its sequel, Dune: Part Two, which will hit theaters in Indonesia on March 13.
