Here’s the official runtime for the movie Dune: Part Two!
Recent information reveals that Dune: Part Two has the potential to be the longest running movie of Denis Villeneuve’s career. Based on information from Japan’s Film Classification and Rating Organization, Dune: Part Two will run for 166 minutes (2 Hours 46 Minutes), which is longer than the first Dune movie.
Despite being Villeneuve’s longest movie, the difference in duration with his first movie is not that significant.
Dune: Part Two Release Date
Unfortunately, we will have to wait a little longer to see the movie Dune: Part Two. Initially, Dune Part: Two will be released in November 2023. However, due to the Hollywood strike, the film’s release schedule was moved to March 15, 2024.
Although the release date is still far away, Villeneuve has reportedly completed the final version of the movie. In fact, the director expressed his satisfaction with this second movie compared to the first.
“For me, this movie is much better than Part One. There’s something more alive in it. There’s a connection with the characters. I tried to achieve an intensity and quality of emotion that I didn’t achieve in Part One, and that was achieved with Part Two. I’m not saying the movie is perfect, but I’m much happier with Part Two than Part One. I can’t wait to share it with the fans and the audience.” Villeneuve said.
