Recently, Jeff Sneider shared the latest information about the villains in the Fantastic Four movie. Fantastic Four will reportedly feature Galactus as the main villain, with Silver Surfer as a supporting character.
If this news is true, then this will be the first appearance for both characters in live action since Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. In addition, this will also be their debut in the MCU.
While Sneider didn’t give any details about the movie’s story, it will most likely be an adaptation of “The Galactus Trilogy”. It tells the story of Galactus’ initial battle against the Fantastic Four, which was first published in 1966.
In this story, the Silver Surfer comes to Earth to warn that Galactus is approaching. In the comics, Galactus is a giant creature capable of eating the world.
Galactus as Fantastic Four Villain
In the movie Rise of the Silver Surfer, Galactus looked different as he was depicted as a thundercloud symbolizing his destructive power, rather than being a giant man in a purple costume.
According to Sneider’s report, Galactus will be the main villain in Fantastic Four, and Javier Bardem is likely to play the character.
According to reports, Marvel has not yet decided who will play the Silver Surfer, although they are looking for a suitable actor through the casting process.
In addition, there are rumors that Doctor Doom will also appear in the film, but will likely only appear at the end of the film or in the credits.
Previously, Sneider has provided accurate rumors, including the rumor that Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards. Recently, Marvel Studios confirmed the rumors.
Interestingly, the Fantastic Four movie will release just two weeks after Superman: Legacy from Warner Bros. Nonetheless, it means that July 2025 will be a busy month with both films.
