Karasuno High School made it to the third round of the Harutaka Volleyball Tournament after defeating Inarizaki High School, a strong team representing Hyogo Prefecture. This moment was very tense as there were many other strong teams participating in the tournament.
Karasuno High School faced Nekoma High School, who had previously been their rivals. However, as Hinata and her friends join the club, their relationship improves. Eventually, they become good friends and train together at the training camp.
