Quoting a report from CNN Indonesia. Henry Cavill announced he was canceling his return to Superman as he had previously announced. The actor gave the news after he conferred with James Gunn and Peter Safran as CEO of DC Movies.
Along with the announcement of his cancellation to return as Superman. Henry Cavill did not forget to send prayers to the crew and future stars who will be involved in all the happiness, luck, and success regarding future DC projects.
“I just had a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran and it’s sad news, everyone. In any case, I will not be returning as Superman. After being told by the studio to announce my return last October before they were hired. This news isn’t easy, but that’s life. The changing of the guard is a necessity. I respect that. James and Peter have a universe to build,” the 39-year-old actor wrote in a social media post.
Fans’ sadness on Henry Cavill’s post
Henry Cavil’s figure as Superman has been very attached to the eyes of superhero fans around the world. Therefore, many fans feel sad to see Henry Cavil’s departure.
