The invitation design is inspired by classic Marvel comic covers and features Downey in character as Doom with strikingly unique elements.
The response from fans to this possible performance was mixed. Some were disappointed and expressed that his performance did not live up to expectations. Someone even called it the worst performance of Doctor Doom in live-action.
However, there are also those who are more relaxed, arguing that the chances of Downey leaking his official appearance just through a birthday party invitation are slim.

Media outlet Nexus Point News also shared a comparison between this image and a recent photo of Downey, which shows the similarity of the hairstyle applied to the image.
On the other hand, Robert Downey Jr.’s participation in Avengers: Doomsday project is not only as a cast member. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo revealed that Downey also helped develop Doctor Doom’s character background for the movie. They even stated that no other actor could bring this version of Doom to life than Robert Downey Jr.
If that’s the case, Downey’s presence as Doctor Doom will be an important milestone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Given that he has been known as a hero through his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man, a new role as one of the strongest villains in the Marvel universe would be an interesting challenge that is sure to attract the attention of many people.
