Nevertheless, Andrea Hirata’s characters and friends did not give up and fought for their dreams to become useful figures for the nation. The movie attracted 4.6 million viewers at the time.
And who would have thought that the success of Laskar Pelangi, it is reported that the Hollywood remake of Laskar Pelangi will be handled by one of Brad Pitt’s production houses, Plan B.
