Michael and Peter Spierig, best known for Jigsaw, will direct the sequel to the Fall franchise titled Fall 2.
Meanwhile, Scott Mann, who previously directed and co-wrote the first film, will also join writer Jonathan Frank to create the screenplay.
According to Variety, survival thriller Fall, which was released in 2022 by Lionsgate, will continue with Fall 2, which entered production in June.
Producers Mark Lane and James Harris of Tea Shop Prods. (47 Meters Down), Capstone’s Christian Mercuri, David Haring, and Scott Mann who joined Flawless, will return to work together on this movie.
Executive producers Asma, John Long, and Roman Viaris will also rejoin Capstone’s Ruzanna Kegeyan. Capstone will be financing the sequel, with Capstone Global in charge of worldwide distribution rights.
Green light for Fall 2 and Fall 3

At the end of 2023, Capstone Studios gave approval for the production of Fall 2 and Fall 3. The movie will bring back the main characters from the first movie while making room for new characters.
The story in the first Fall movie is about two friends who climb a 2,000-foot abandoned radio tower. They find themselves stuck there with no way back down.
They struggle to survive against various challenges, including lack of supplies and vertigo from the altitude. Scott Mann will return as writer and director for the third installment.
“We’re very excited to lead the second installment of the franchise and bring the nail-biting, vertigo-inducing thrill rides back to life,” the Spierig Brothers said as quoted by Variety.
Mann adds: “I’m very proud to hand over the reins to Spierig, two highly respected directors who will no doubt make this sequel a must-watch experience beyond what we already know.”

The Spierig brothers are known for movies like Lionsgate’s Winchester. The movie Winchester itself features Helen Mirren and Sarah Snook, as well as the movie Jigsaw which is the eighth episode of the Saw series.
They have also received awards for films such as Daybreakers with Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe, Predestination with Hawke and Snook, and the zombie movie Undead.
Fall managed to achieve surprising critical and commercial success. The movie managed to rank number one in several countries around the world. In addition, the movie also grossed more than $20 million at the box office, even though its initial budget was only $3 million.
It was also a huge success overseas, including in China, where it was nominated as the best foreign film in the Golden Rooster, which has the same prestige as the Academy Awards in the country.
