Chad Stahelski once gave a little information about the development of the John Wick anime project. But at that time he had not revealed many concrete details about the project.
According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday (23/10/2024), Chad Stahelski, co-creator and director of the John Wick film franchise, stated that the anime will present some elements of “mission impossible”.
In this context, the anime movie will tell the story of John Wick undergoing an ‘impossible task’ mission before he decides to leave that world.
2. Impossible Task in John Wick
Impossible Tasks often appear in movies, but explanations are rare. The story in the movie begins after the main character comes out of retirement and returns to the dark world to seek revenge. There are still many moments of his glory days as a hitman that have yet to be revealed.
Fans know little about Viggo Tarasov’s dialog that explains that John Wick was once given the task of eliminating all the Tarasov family’s enemies in one night, so that no one could seek revenge later on.
Back then, John Wick met Helen, who would later become his wife, and he planned to retire. However, Viggo gives him a seemingly impossible mission, convinced that John Wick won’t be able to complete it.
