Kate Winslet will officially return to play her character in Avatar 3, according to James Cameron.
Fans are currently waiting to enjoy the return of James Cameron’s phenomenal movie Avatar. Cameron has successfully released two previous Avatar movies, Avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water.
Currently, the director is in the process of preparing for the third movie in the series which will be released in the next few years.
In a recent interview with People Magazine, James Cameron confirmed that Kate Winslet, one of his co-stars, will appear again in Avatar 3. Winslet will continue her role as Ronal in the film.
Interestingly, Winslet is reportedly doing some serious real-life preparation for her role in Avatar 3.
When you see her (Kate Winslet) doing the cleansing rituals to bring Kitty back to life in the movie and doing the kinds of things she’s going to do in the third movie, it’s based on actual rehearsal.
Why Kate Winslet wanted to join James Cameron in Avatar
Regarding Kate Winslet and the role she played in the movie Avatar, in an interview, Kate has explained the reason why she finally decided to participate in the movie by James Cameron.
Winslet revealed that the distinctive appeal of the underwater tribes and their compelling narrative was the reason that attracted her to be involved in the movie project. Kate Winslet also admitted that she is a fan of the movie Avatar.
When James Cameron invited her to participate in the movie project, Kate accepted the offer without a second thought. She loved every aspect of her character.
Currently, the plot details that James Cameron will present for Avatar 3 are still under wraps. Cameron revealed that he got special feedback from the executive team after they read the scripts of Avatar 3 and Avatar 4.
Avatar: The Way of Water will bring back the adventures of Jake Sully and Ney’tiri in dealing with an old threat that has returned while exploring more of Pandora. Let’s wait for Kate Winslet’s appearance in Avatar 3, which will be released on December 19, 2025.
