Krypto the Dog will appear in Superman: Legacy (2025). Wow, is this true? Check it out right away guys!
Krypto the Dog is certainly no stranger to those of us who are fans of superhero comics. Especially superhero Superman comics. He is basically Superman’s dog.
Now his figure has been adapted several times into various series and films, which are often animated. The last time we saw him was through the DC animated movie, DC League of Super-Pets (2022). Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (Jungle Cruise) voiced him.

Either coincidence or getting encouragement from Warner Bros, 3 years after watching him in the animated film, we will reportedly see the figure of Krypto again.
For his latest appearance, he will appear in a live-action format. He will appear in James Gunn’s first DC movie, Superman: Legacy.
The news emerged recently through an interview conducted by James Gunn and Chris Pratt with the Toronto Sun. Initially, it was all the result of a joke between the two and the interviewer. But after it died down, Gunn then clarified that the joke was true.
In line with Gunn’s Vision and Mission
If so, of course, in my opinion, the inclusion of Krypto in Superman: Legacy is in line with Gunn’s vision and mission for the movie.
Specifically, if you remember, Gunn has said that Superman: Legacy will focus on a young Clark Kent aka Superman who will later try to come to terms with his origins as an alien from the planet Krypton.
So with that brief description, it would be a little strange if Krypto was not included. Because as we know once again, Krypto is one of the most important figures in Kal-El’s life.
Will Keep the DC Universe Fresh
Now if indeed this plan will become a reality, we can be sure that the appearance of Krypto will make the DC Universe (Film and TV) much more fresh and exciting. However, both flavors can be lost if not supported by the right voice actor.
