SAG 2023 or the 29th Screen Actors Guild Awards was just held a few hours ago. Here is the list of winners.

A few hours ago or on February 26, 2023 (US time). The 2023 SAG awards ceremony was held. This award is basically an event to honor fellow actors in both feature films and movies and television series.

Although it is still a relatively “young” award, it is already highly regarded. SAG 2023 is already regarded as the Oscar’s “representative” just like the BAFTA awards (except for the television section).

In other words, big-screen actors and actresses who win SAG will usually also triumph at the Oscars.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

In this award, everyone’s favorite 2022 sci-fi drama film Everything Everywhere All at Once triumphed. The movie won 4 awards out of its 6 award categories.

Not only is it a fantastic achievement in terms of numbers. But this victory also created a new history for SAG.

The new history as reported by The New Daily, is that Ke Huy Quan and Michelle Yeoh became the first Asian actor and actress to win the award.

Huy Quan of course plays Waymond Wang and Yeoh plays Evelyn Quan Wang. Oh yes, one more record is that the movie became the first Asian cast movie to win the main award: Outstanding Performance by a Cast in Motion Picture.

Now that we know that crazy fact, let’s take a look at the full list of winners below.
