1. Has a Tragic Past
First, let’s take a look at Ironheart’s past. But by 2017’s Invincible Iron Man (Vol. 4) #3, he became known as Ironhert. According to the story, Riri Williams grew up in Chicago with her biological mother and stepfather, her biological father died in a robbery incident when Riri was still in the womb.
Since childhood Riri had difficulty making friends with other children her age, because she was worried her parents immediately took her to professional therapy and it was revealed that Riri was a smart child.
As a child, Riri Williams was curious about all things mechanical, until she met and befriended Natalie. But when Riri turned 13 at a community event, the event was attacked by criminals. Due to the attack her stepfather and Natalie died.
2. Taking the Name Ironheart and Becoming Iron Man’s Successor
A few years later Riri Williams managed to join MIT. He also tried to make armor like Tony Stark for the purpose of protecting Chicago from criminals. Riri got a lot of tools and equipment at MIT.
Finally the armor created by Riri Williams was successful, and when she was conducting trials, Riri crashed her armor into a truck containing criminals until the armor was destroyed. Because of this incident Riri could not return to MIT and decided to go home.
While chatting with her mother, Tony Stark appeared and was amazed by her actions, so he recruited Riri as a superhero and helped Tony during the Civil War conflict. Due to the Civil War conflict, Tony Stark was injured and because Iron Man was absent. Riri also tried to fill the role of Iron Man and made the code name Ironheart.
3. Appears in Black Panther Movie: Wakanda Forever
For those of you who don’t know, the figure of Riri Williams or Ironheart will appear in the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
