9. Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver
Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver is a continuation of the movie Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child Fire which will be available on December 22, 2023. Interestingly, even though the first movie hasn’t been released yet, Netflix has already announced that the sequel will air in April 2024.
However, since the first movie has not yet been released, there is still no information about what will happen in this second movie, and the storyline is still a secret.
Clearly, the second movie will focus on a character named Kora known as Scargiver, as the title suggests. Zack Snyder explained that this movie is an actual war movie.
The movie Rebel Moon takes place in a fictional world ruled by a corrupt government called Mother World. A planet called Veldt must face a threat from the Imperium, the Mother World’s main army led by Regent Balisarius.
This is what ultimately motivates Kora, a former Imperium soldier, to gather the best warriors from across the galaxy to fight the cruelty of the Mother World.
Unfortunately, the movie Rebel Moon received less than positive initial reviews. But we will wait and see, whether this movie will be accepted by the public or not after its release.
8. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
The movie Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is in the same universe as Mad Max. This can be seen from the name “Mad Max Saga” in the title of this movie.
However, this time the story will focus on the character Imperator Furiosa who previously appeared in Mad Max: Fury Road. The difference is that this movie will present a younger Furiosa, as this movie will tell the origin of Furiosa.
Anya Taylor-Joy will be cast in the movie Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Apart from Anya Taylor-Joy, the movie will also feature Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke, and Daniel Webber. Hemsworth’s particular role in this movie is as an antagonist who has an extraordinary and terrifying appearance.
The film’s story will be set 45 years after the destruction of human civilization, where young Furiosa experiences a kidnapping in her home.
Of course, Furiosa will try her best to return home, but it won’t be easy. Since this is a prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road, it will not feature Tom Hardy or Charlize Theron in the lead roles.
7. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire
The next new action movies of 2024 is not centered on a story about humans, but about monsters. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is the continuation of Godzilla vs Kong, and is the fifth movie in the Monsterverse.
Godzilla and Kong will meet again, but this time they won’t be fighting each other like before. They will face a more terrifying threat, a Kaiju that is still of Kong’s kind.
The new monster, Scar King, can be seen in the first trailer. An epic battle between Kong and Scar King will take place, and the movie will focus on the battle of the monsters.

6. Dune: Part Two
The movie Dune: Part Two will continue the success of the previous movie. This latest action movie is scheduled to be released on March 1, 2024. However, in the same month, Dune: Part Two will face stiff competition from some other big movies like Kung-Fu Panda 4, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and Arthur the King.
This competition will not be easy for Dune: Part Two. The thing to note is that this movie will only be shown in theaters and will not be released through the HBO Max streaming service like the first movie.

The movie will also introduce a character named Ezekiel Sims, played by Tahar Rahim. He is considered the main villain who has similar abilities to Madame Web. S.J. Clarkson directed the movie, with a script written by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama.
Because it belongs to Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, Madame Web is in the same universe as Venom and Morbius.

3. Kraven The Hunter

Kraven’s story is so interesting that Sony decided to make a movie that focuses solely on him, which is scheduled to be released on August 30, 2024.

However, when a discovered ancient artifact unleashes evil forces, the old and new Ghostbusters team must join forces to guard their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.
This action movie is scheduled to be released on March 29, 2024. Some famous names such as Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and McKenna Grace will be the main actors in this movie.
