Millie Bobby Brown is in the process of adapting her novel, Nineteen Steps, into a movie. According to a report from Deadline, she has signed a contract with Netflix to produce the movie through her production company, PCMA.
This move shows the development of Brown’s cooperation with the streaming platform, after nearly ten years of working together on various projects.
Anthony McCarten has been selected to write the script adaptation of Nineteen Steps. The writer is best known for his work on the Whitney Houston films: I Wanna Dance With Somebody and The Two Popes.
However, McCarten’s greatest achievement was with the movie The Theory of Everything, which earned him an Academy Award nomination in the Best Adapted Screenplay category.
