Combining thriller, comedy, and action genres, Nobody 2 promises a more thrilling and intense series of action scenes than the first film. The synopsis of Nobody 2 once again invites viewers to delve into the life of Hutch Mansell, a man full of secrets and violence.
He is portrayed as a father living on the outskirts of town who turns out to be no ordinary man. In this second installment, Hutch tries to rebuild a normal life with his family after experiencing a cruel tragedy in the first film.
Directed by Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto, Nobody 2 is a collaboration between three renowned production houses: 87North, Eighty Two Films, and Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment. The film also marks Timo Tjahjanto’s debut in Hollywood action cinema.
Nobody 2 Synopsis
Hutch Mansell tries to distance himself from the criminal world after previously being involved in a conflict with a Russian group in the first film. Hutch takes a break from his secret missions and goes on vacation with his family to a small town called Plummerville, a place that is very memorable for Hutch because he visited it when he was a child.
He wanted to create new memories with his family, including inviting his father to join them and reminisce. At first, the trip was peaceful and enjoyable, visiting favorite places in the city, such as a playground that was still crowded with tourists.
However, the atmosphere became tense when Brady accidentally got involved in a conflict with local teenagers. The situation worsened when the playground guard harassed Sammy, which made Hutch very angry.
He intervened and struck the guard, even fighting off another guard who tried to intervene. This violent incident marked the beginning of an increasingly complex problem, in which Hutch had to deal not only with local residents, but also with a corrupt sheriff who was colluding with a criminal cartel.
