Lionsgate has released the official poster for the John Wick spin-off film, Ballerina, at the CCXP event featuring Ana de Armas as Eve.

Lionsgate has just released the latest poster for the John Wick spin-off movie, titled Ballerina. In the poster, Ana de Armas appears as Eve Macarro, a trained assassin who comes from the Roman Ruska tradition.

The poster was released during CCXP, an annual event in São Paulo, Brazil. It is known as one of the biggest events that celebrates pop culture, movies, anime, and other interesting things.

Ballerina is one of several John Wick spinoffs being promoted by Chad Stahelski. As the director and producer of the franchise, he is also overseeing the development of the project at Lionsgate.

Apart from Ballerina, there are also several spinoffs in the form of TV series that are in development, as well as an anime series.

Ana de Armas, star of the movie Ballerina, is the latest actor to join the John Wick franchise and showcase her fighting skills. The latest promotional poster for the spin-off film makes it clear that the main character is assertive and ready to face any danger.

Lionsgate released the latest poster for Ballerina on December 5, featuring de Armas’ character Eve Macarro aka Rooney. She holds a firearm and looks menacing as she leads a mission of revenge. Fans can also see a tattoo that reads “Lux In Tenebris,” which means light in the darkness.

Set between John Wick’s last movie, Chapter 3 and Chapter 4, Ballerina tells the story of Rooney, a ballet dancer who is also an assassin.

He began his training in the tradition of Ruska Roma and was sheltered by hotel owner Winston and concierge Charon at the Continental Hotel in New York. Rooney’s motivation to train came after a dark tragedy. He was determined to avenge his father’s death and was ready to risk his life to achieve justice.

2. Delayed Release Schedule

The movie Ballerina was originally set to be released this year, but has been delayed until 2025. The original premiere date for the movie was shifted to the remake of The Crow, which received a lot of negative criticism.

In February, McShane confirmed that additional shooting had taken place to complete the spinoff, and in an interview on The One Show, he emphasized that the additional shooting was to “protect the franchise.”

Ballerina is a film by director Len Wiseman, best known for Total Recall, and Emerald Fennell is among the scriptwriters. Lionsgate bought the rights to Shay Hatten’s Ballerina, in 2017, and they adapted the script to fit into the John Wick franchise.
